RALEIGH, NC (May 15, 2006) – Avnet Electronics Marketing, the largest operating group of Avnet Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announced last week that it has been named Distributor of the Year by Stackpole Electronics. This award is based upon Avnet’s year on year growth for 2005.
